🌸September is Gynaecological Cancer awareness month🌸

Posted on:

Each year in the UK, over 22,000 women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer. These include ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal and vulval cancers.

Early diagnosis is key – spotting symptoms early can save lives. Most symptoms won’t be cancer, but it’s always best to get checked if something doesn’t feel right.

👉Symptoms to look out for include:

– Unusual vaginal bleeding or discharge (including after the menopause)

– Persistent bloating, feeling full more quickly, or nausea

– A persistent itch, lump, or changes to the vulval skin or vagina

– Unexplained lower back, abdominal, or pelvic pain
